Dogs and Cats Forever, Inc.

Founded in 1988, Dogs and Cats Forever, Inc. was established to provide a safe haven for homeless dogs and cats on the Treasure Coast. Our mission is to build and maintain a compassionate shelter dedicated to finding loving, adoptive homes for our animals while working to reduce the tragic euthanasia of abandoned pets in southern Florida.

As Florida’s population continues to grow, so does the number of unwanted animals in need of care. At our shelter, every pet has a chance at a brighter future. For those not adopted, we proudly provide a safe and permanent home for the entirety of their natural lives.

At Dogs and Cats Forever, Inc., we uphold a strict commitment to the welfare of our animals:

• No animal will ever be sold for research, entertainment, or exploitation.
• We advocate for the spaying and neutering of companion animals to combat pet overpopulation.
• We work tirelessly to prevent animal abuse and neglect.

Our organization operates independently and is not affiliated with any other animal welfare group. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity, relying entirely on donations and endowments to sustain our mission. All operations are carried out by unpaid volunteers, ensuring that every contribution directly supports the care of local animals in need.
